Step 1: Visualize a portrait of what you will draw. We're sketching a female anime here, so we'll draw the head, pelvic area, wide shoulder, and several static poses. Step 2: Begin with the fundamentals by drawing a horizontal line below the bottom border of the eyes. Draw a vertical line to split the head into equal portions at the same time.
