My first make-up application since Halloween! It's been a long time. 0.o I've been swamped with costume work for a convention that took place this weekend, so anticipate more films soon. This is my interpretation of Rupleteazer from Cats. I tweaked the makeup a bit for the real costume premiere, but I loved how it turned out...
Lillian describes Rumpelstiltskin being highly recommended by King Midas in the opening scenes (the king with the "Golden Touch"). This is a reference to Rumpelstiltskin's original story, in which he could convert straw into gold, however that version did not include King Midas since it was a Greek legend, while Rumpel's story originated in Germany. Rumpel is King in the parallel reality, but instead of being addressed as "Your Majesty," his people and attendants address him as "Mr. Stiltskin."
