The Monster is a key adversary in Friday Night Funkin', serving as both the primary antagonist in Week 2 and the minor antagonist in Week 5. Unlike the other villains in the game, who are either off-screen or try to be villainous, or who only wish to protect/steal the Girlfriend from the Boyfriend, the Monster is actually and actively vile, with a desire to torture, mutilate, murder, and consume them both.
