Kaisen Jujutsu A little child struggles for "the proper death." Humans' negative emotions, such as hardship, regret, and humiliation, become Curses that lurk in our daily existence. Curses are rife throughout the earth, capable of causing tremendous misery and even death. Furthermore, the Curses can be exorcised only by another Curse. Itadori Yuji is a kid with incredible physical power who lives a totally normal high school life. To rescue a buddy who has been cursed, he bites the Double-Faced Specter's finger, absorbing the Curse into his own soul. He now shares a body with the Double-Faced Specter. Itadori gets accepted to the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School of Sorcery, an institution that battles the Curses, guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Gojou Satoru... and so starts the epic narrative of a kid who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse, a life from which he could never return. The narrative is set a year before Itadori's period, and focuses on his upperclassmen at Jujutsu High—Maki, Panda, Toge, and Yuta Okkotsu (the MC). We don't see Yuta in Jujutsu Kaisen, but other characters often mention him and the events in this book. Satoru Gojo has taken Yuta to Jujutsu High because his childhood friend, Rika, has cursed him. But this isn't just ordinary curse; she's been classed as Special Grade. Yuta doesn't know how to control or utilize her due of her overpowering strength. Meanwhile, Suguru Geto is on a mission to capture Yuta Okkotsu, notably Rika, to add to his own collection of cursed spirits that he controls, setting up a clash with his closest friend-turned-enemy, Gojo.
