Normally, you won't be able to remove a hat after you've placed it on since doing so would cause your top to be completely flat, making it impossible to wear a hat with curly hair. I like the look of curls and hats, but after dressing up as a pirate (and so wearing a hat) for a recent Halloween party, I resolved never to wear a hat again, and here's why: After a few hours at the Halloween party, I was becoming overheated and wanted to remove my hat. But I couldn't do it! Taking it off left me appearing as though I was still wearing a hat: the top of my curls were completely flat and squashed against my head, but my ends remained flawlessly curled.
