He couldn't stop them from kidnapping his commander because, as the devil stated, he was weak. But that's also a positive thing since it means he'll be stronger when he returns. I really hope not. Lucifero has shown certain distinct characteristics when compared to the other known devils. Instead of two wings and two horns (weg), Lucifero has four wings and four horns, which is appropriate for a demon who has a king!
Dante attacks the Black Bulls on his own in Episode 162, and he vastly outperforms all of their talents. After training in the Heart Kingdom, Asta has luckily arrived to the base on time, and the episode truly puts his new talents to the test as Asta confronts another demon host who has complete control of his contract and abilities.
