Of course, Gon Freecs is prominently featured in the skit. This concept artwork urges the hero to abandon his youthful appearance in favor of a more realistic one. Humans continue to change year after year, technical improvements are produced on a regular basis, and society standards vary. Humanity as a whole is in a perpetual state of flux, which may occasionally be negative in nature. As frightening as it may be, individuals who just want to do good may confront this negativity. After all, it is this equilibrium that keeps the planet turning.

He has two significant triumphs. The first was against Genthru around halfway through the manga, after many arcs of training. To win, he had to give up both of his arms. The second was against Pitou, at an exorbitant cost. Apart from Genthru and Pitou, I honestly can't think of anybody else he's defeated save Rammot. This says a lot, and I think it was done on purpose. People he can easily defeat are insignificant and forgettable. He was never a danger to the universe's genuinely powerful beings.
