Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge debuted its first anime adaptation in April 2019, adapting the first seven volumes of the blockbuster manga. Kimetsu no Yaiba, Demon Slayer The Mugen Train Arc continued the events of the first season, adapting chapters 54 to 69 of the manga, and was followed by the Entertainment District Arc, an adaptation of Demon Slayer's ninth volume. The next arc is named Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba. The Swordsmith Village Arc will be based on the original manga's 12th to 15th volumes. The original manga debuted in February 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and finished in May 2020, with a total of 23 volumes.
