The forthcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom deviates from the norm by switching genres midway through the film. While all three trailers for the film feature two distinct focal locales, director J.A. Bayona has stated that Fallen Kingdom's tone would vary considerably in the film's second act. The third and final trailer for Fallen Kingdom from Universal builds on the locales and narrative aspects seen in the previous two trailers, with a stronger emphasis on how the plot will evolve. According to the official description, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) from Jurassic World will return to the island on a dinosaur rescue operation. When they realize that the operation is more crooked than they were lead to think, they go to the enigmatic Lockwood Estate in search of a dark conspiracy.
Operation Rescue
Wheatley was already on Isla Nublar, collecting several dinosaur species and loading them onboard his ship, the Arcadia. He said that the large herbivores were simple to trap. Blue ("the blue one," as Wheatley dubbed her) has escaped the mercenaries so far. Wheatley met Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, and the rest of the Dinosaur Protection Group as they arrived via aircraft. He was exuberant and jovial, insisting on an excellent working relationship with Claire, addressing her by her first name, and referring to Owen as "the raptor wrangler."
