Aqua's strength as a Goddess is exactly proportional to the devotion of her worshippers. Yunyun came up with the name Kuro when brainstorming names for Chomusuke (which just means black). Megumin felt the name was strange and decided it would be Chomusuke's interim name. Kazuma was one of the names suggested by Megumin's classmates for Chomusuke after Megumin declared the cat to be her familiar.
